Terms of Service

1. What You're Getting

When you create an account or purchase credits from HRTasksAI, you receive:

• Access License: A non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our AI task automation service
• Task Credits: Prepaid credits that let you execute tasks through our platform
• Expert Frameworks: Access to professionally designed task methodologies built specifically for human resources professionals and HR managers
• Integration Tools: Software to connect our service with your AI assistant (OpenClaw, Claude Desktop, etc.)

2. What You're NOT Getting

To be crystal clear:

• You do not own the task prompts, methodologies, skill catalogs, vertical taxonomies, scoring logic, or system architecture
• You cannot resell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, scrape, or share our task frameworks or generated skill materials
• You cannot reverse-engineer our service, prompts, schemas, catalog structure, or matching behavior to create competing products
• You cannot use HRTasksAI to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or populate a competing AI model, skill library, prompt library, automation product, or vertical workflow product
• Your license is for your own internal professional use only unless Laudo Lux, LLC gives written permission

3. How Tasks Work

Installed AI-app tasks — HRTasksAI delivers expert task frameworks, prompts, routing, and setup materials for use with your selected AI app, MCP-compatible client, or local model. The ordinary task prompt, document review, drafting, and saved output happen in that AI environment, not as task processing by Laudo Lux servers.

Website and API services — Our servers handle account creation, license validation, credit accounting, installer delivery, public catalog metadata, policy acceptance records, support, abuse prevention, and operational logs needed to run the service.

Important: We deliver the framework to you. While we trust you to use it ethically, copying or distributing these frameworks violates this agreement and will result in license termination.

Jurisdiction and authority source packs — Some verticals may use state, county, city, district, agency, association, or MLS labels to retrieve reviewed source packs or provisional official-source research. These features support source finding and workflow routing only. You remain responsible for confirming current laws, regulations, forms, agency rules, MLS rules, brokerage policies, school policies, farm program rules, and other professional requirements before relying on any output. Do not enter private addresses, customer/client/student/person facts, credentials, private records, prompts, documents, or generated content into jurisdiction or authority selector fields.

4. Credits & Pricing

• Credits cover HRTasksAI access, task-framework delivery, license validation, catalog services, and other product features unless stated otherwise
• Credits never expire
• Credits are non-refundable after purchase
• Credits do not cover charges from your selected AI provider, MCP-compatible client, or local model provider
• A product feature may charge credits when a framework, source pack, or other gated service is delivered
• You can check your balance anytime through the service

5. Your Data & Privacy

We take your privacy seriously:

• Documents stay private: Installed AI-app tasks process documents in your selected AI environment, not on Laudo Lux servers
• Task prompts and outputs: Your selected AI app or AI provider may process your prompts, documents, and generated output under your account and that provider's terms
• Usage logs: We track credit usage, task types, and timestamps for billing and service improvement
• No sale: We will never sell your data to third parties

6. Your Responsibilities

HRTasksAI is a productivity tool, not a substitute for professional judgment. You remain responsible for:

• Reviewing all AI-generated content for accuracy and appropriateness
• Verifying outputs before acting on them in your work
• Complying with any applicable professional standards in your field
• Protecting any sensitive documents you process with the service

AI makes mistakes. Always review, verify, and apply your own professional judgment to any output.

7. Signup Acceptance and Policy Versions

To create an account, you must affirmatively check the signup box accepting these Terms of Service and acknowledging the Privacy Policy. Laudo Lux, LLC records the policy bundle version, Terms version, Privacy Policy version, product, account, license, timestamp, and privacy-minimized request metadata associated with that acceptance.

The current policy bundle version is 2026-08-22.3. The current Terms version is terms-2026-08-22.3. The current Privacy Policy version is privacy-2026-08-22.3.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Share your license key with others
• Attempt to extract, copy, or reverse-engineer our task prompts or systems
• Use the service for illegal purposes or to violate others' rights
• Abuse the service with excessive automated requests
• Resell access to HRTasksAI as part of another service
• Use the service to create a competing product or to train competing AI models

9. License Termination

We may terminate your license immediately if you:

• Violate these terms
• Abuse the service
• Share your credentials
• Use the service for prohibited purposes

Upon termination, you lose access to the service. Remaining credits are forfeited with no refund.

10. Updates & Changes

• We continuously improve our tasks — you get updates automatically
• We may modify pricing for future credit purchases (existing credits unaffected)
• We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the new terms
• We'll notify you of major changes via email if you're subscribed to updates

11. Disclaimers & Limitations

Service provided "as is":

• We don't guarantee 100% uptime (though we try)
• AI output may contain errors — always review
• We're not liable for decisions you make based on AI output

No professional advice: HRTasksAI provides workflow support and draft materials. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, real estate brokerage, insurance, clinical, or other licensed professional advice. You are responsible for obtaining qualified professional review where required.

Limitation of liability: Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for credits. We are not responsible for consequential damages, lost profits, or indirect losses of any kind.

12. Intellectual Property

HRTasksAI and Laudo Lux, LLC own all rights to:

• Task prompts and methodologies
• Vertical product concepts, skill catalogs, schemas, and workflow structures
• Software and integration tools
• Branding and visual design
• System architecture and databases

You retain ownership of:

• Documents you upload or process
• Work product you create using our tools
• Your files and data

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes will be resolved in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
