The Short Version: This Privacy Policy applies specifically to HRTasksAI at hrtasksai.com, operated by Laudo Lux, LLC. We collect minimal account, licensing, usage, and policy-acceptance data. Your documents and locally saved task outputs stay on your computer for local tasks. We don't sell your information. Contact us anytime to access, correct, or delete your data.

What We Collect

Account Information

  • Email address: For license delivery, support, and optional updates
  • Payment information: Processed entirely by Stripe — we never see your card details
  • License key: Generated automatically to authenticate your access

Policy Acceptance Records

  • Signup consent: Whether you checked the required Terms of Service and Privacy Policy box
  • Version records: Policy bundle version 2026-08-22.3, Terms version terms-2026-08-22.3, and Privacy Policy version privacy-2026-08-22.3
  • Audit metadata: Product, account, license, timestamp, policy URLs, and privacy-minimized request hashes

We do not store raw IP addresses or raw user-agent strings in the policy acceptance record.

Usage Data

  • Task execution logs: Which tasks you run, timestamps, and credit usage
  • Technical logs: API requests, errors, and performance metrics for service operation

Jurisdiction and Authority Selectors

  • General labels: Some verticals may send selected skill ID, product ID, state, county, city or locality, district or public authority, association, or MLS label to retrieve reviewed source packs or provisional official-source research
  • Usage metadata: We may record license-linked jurisdiction lookup usage, timestamps, source-pack status, cache metadata, and related operational data

Jurisdiction and authority selectors are for general labels only. Do not enter private addresses, customer/client/student/person facts, credentials, private records, listing data, prompts, documents, or generated content into those fields.

What We DON'T Collect

  • Your documents: Local execution tasks process files entirely on your machine — they never reach our servers
  • Generated output files: Saved Word and Markdown files are created by the local MCP runtime on your computer, not on our website
  • Business or client details: We don't store the content of your queries beyond what's needed for processing
  • Location tracking: No GPS, no browser fingerprinting
  • Social connections: We are not tracking you across the web

How We Use Your Data

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and improve the HRTasksAI service
  • Process payments and manage your credits
  • Record which policy versions were accepted when an account or license was created
  • Retrieve reviewed jurisdiction source packs, perform controlled official-source research where enabled, cache public-source results, meter usage, and improve source coverage
  • Send transactional emails (license keys, receipts, support responses)
  • Send optional product updates (if you subscribe)
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Detect and prevent abuse or fraud

Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your data. Period.

We share limited data only with essential service providers:

  • Stripe: For payment processing (governed by Stripe's own privacy policy)
  • Google Cloud Platform: Our infrastructure provider for hosting and database services
  • AI/research providers: For controlled official-source research where enabled, using general jurisdiction selectors and public-source evidence rather than private documents or customer facts

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How Tasks Handle Your Data

Website and API Services

Our servers handle account creation, license validation, credit accounting, installer delivery, public catalog metadata, policy acceptance records, support, abuse prevention, and operational logs. Some verticals may also use general jurisdiction or authority selectors to retrieve reviewed source packs or perform controlled official-source research where enabled.

Installed AI-App Tasks

Your documents are not sent to Laudo Lux servers for ordinary HRTasksAI task processing. We deliver the expert framework; your selected AI app, MCP-compatible client, cloud AI provider, or local model applies it to your prompts and files. When you save a task result as a Word document or Markdown file, the local MCP runtime creates that file on your computer. If you use a cloud AI provider, your documents and prompts may be sent to that provider for processing — review their data policies for details.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices:

  • HTTPS encryption for all communications
  • License key authentication
  • Secure database storage on managed cloud infrastructure
  • Regular security updates
  • Limited employee access to user data

No system is 100% secure. Keep your license key private and use good security practices on your own systems.

Data Retention

  • Account data: Kept as long as your account is active
  • Policy acceptance records: Kept as part of account, license, compliance, and dispute records
  • Usage logs: Retained 90 days for billing and troubleshooting
  • Jurisdiction source caches and lookup usage: Retained as needed for source freshness, abuse prevention, audit, and rate-limit enforcement; these records use general selectors and public-source results, not private work documents
  • Financial records: Kept for 7 years as required by tax law
  • Email subscribers: Until you unsubscribe

Your Rights

You can:

  • Access your data: Email us to request a copy of what we hold
  • Correct errors: Request updates to your email or account info
  • Delete your account: We'll remove your data, except financial records required by law
  • Opt out of emails: Unsubscribe from marketing anytime; transactional emails (receipts, license keys) will still be sent

Cookies & Tracking

We use minimal tracking:

  • No advertising cookies
  • No cross-site tracking
  • Session cookies: Used if a dashboard feature is added

Third-Party AI Providers

HRTasksAI delivers expert task frameworks. Your AI assistant (not us) processes your content. Depending on your setup:

  • Local LLM: Your data stays entirely on your machine — no third-party processing
  • Cloud AI (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI): Your queries and documents are sent to the provider for processing. Review your provider's data retention policies before using with sensitive materials.

Children's Privacy

HRTasksAI is intended for professional and business use. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

International Users

Our servers are located in the United States. By using HRTasksAI, you consent to data transfer to the US. We comply with applicable data protection laws.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email (if subscribed) or a notice on the website. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated policy.
